We’ll begin our adventure at the South Rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison then proceed to Morrow Point where we will meet with West Elk Loop Scenic Byway and head North up to Crawford Needle with views of the Anthracite Mountains. We’ll have a picnic lunch at Kebler Pass. Then it’s on to Crested Butte, the Wildflower Capital of Colorado where we will be spending 2 nights.

After a sunrise shoot on Day 3, we’ll travel to the Blue Mesa Reservoir. After cresting the Cerro Summit we’ll head up the Cimarron River to Owl Creek Pass high in the Uncompahgre Mountains. Finally, we’ll wend our way down to Ouray where we will spend the evening. Join us for a jeep ride high in the San Juan Mountains and enjoy the incredible views and photograph the abundant wildflowers. Explore Alta and Telluride for a day then it’s down to Colorado’s own canyon country, the Dolores River Canyon. We’ll spend our last night at the new Gateway Canyons Resort and marvel at Hendrick’s historic car collection and dine at the Paradox Grille.
